God's grace in one tiny faceđź’—

There’s something especially beautiful about a gro There’s something especially beautiful about a growing family…

Not just the anticipation of a new baby, but the quiet (and sometimes not-so-quiet) excitement of an older sibling stepping into a brand new role 🤍

The curiosity.
The joy.
The way they gently hold onto mama, already sensing that everything is about to change.

It’s such a tender in-between season—where they are still your baby, and already becoming something more.

These moments matter just as much as the newborn days.
Because this is where the story begins… for them, too.

If you’re expecting and want to capture this season—including the sweet anticipation of big brothers and sisters—I would love to document it for you 🤍

If your due date falls between June and August, th If your due date falls between June and August, this is your gentle reminder to reach out before the window closes 🤍

Here's why timing matters more than most parents realize:
The ideal age for newborn photography is 5–14 days old. Babies are sleepier, more flexible, and easier to settle in those first two weeks. After that, the window shifts quickly.
Which means your session needs to be already booked before your baby arrives — not after.

I keep my calendar intentionally small so that every family I work with gets my full attention. That means I can only take a limited number of sessions each month in order to serve you to the best of my ability. Summer dates are nearly full.

If you're expecting this summer and have been thinking about a newborn session, now is the time to reach out!

Sweet Charlotte came to me at 2 months old with the most beautiful soft blonde hair—and the best little expressions.

And I think she saved her very best smile just for this shoot ✨

If you’re considering a session and worried you may have missed that newborn window, don’t worry—I will capture your baby beautifully right where they are 🤍

5 questions to ask before booking a newborn photog 5 questions to ask before booking a newborn photographer đź“‹

Asking the right questions before you book can make all the difference in your experience and your images!
.

1. Are you trained in newborn safety?
Newborn posing requires specific training. Your photographer should be able to speak confidently about how they keep babies safe during every pose.

2. How many sessions do you take per month?
A photographer who limits their bookings can give your family more time, more attention, and a more personalized experience.

3. How far in advance should I book?
Most newborn photographers book 6–8 weeks before your due date. The earlier, the better — especially for spring and summer dates.

4. Can I include personal or sentimental items?
A great newborn photographer will welcome heirlooms, meaningful props, and personal touches — and will take the time to incorporate them thoughtfully.

5. What happens if my baby is fussy or needs breaks?
The answer should reassure you. Feeds, diaper changes, and cuddle breaks are a normal part of the process — not an interruption to it.

.

Save this for when you're ready to start your search. 🤍

There are two paths in my life that have never fel There are two paths in my life that have never felt separate—but deeply connected: pediatric physical therapy and photography.

At first glance, they seem different. But to me, they share the same heartbeat.

Both are callings. Both have invited me into the lives of children and families during some of their most tender, meaningful seasons. And in both, I’ve found a quiet kind of fulfillment—not from achievement, but from purpose.

In therapy, I walk alongside families as their children grow, overcome, and reach milestones that once felt far away.

Through the lens, I hold onto the moments that pass all too quickly—the tiny details, the overwhelming love, the beauty of a season that never lasts long enough.

One calling helps time move forward.
The other helps it stand still.

And I’m so grateful I’ve never had to choose between them—because both have shaped me, fulfilled me, and called me exactly where I’m meant to be.

At the heart of it all is the same purpose: to serve families, to love children well, and to honor each stage for exactly what it is.

And that is something I will always carry with deep gratitude 🤍
There is a sacred stillness that surrounds the beg There is a sacred stillness that surrounds the beginning of a family’s story.

It’s found in the quiet weight of a newborn in your arms…
in the way time seems to pause, if only for a moment…
in the overwhelming, unmistakable knowing that this child is a gift.

Long before photography, I was drawn to children and families—to the joy, the tenderness, and the deep sense of purpose found in caring for them. What began as a love for connection has grown into a calling: to preserve these fleeting moments with intention, artistry, and reverence.

“Children are a heritage from the Lord, a reward from Him.” — Psalm 127:3

I believe this wholeheartedly. Every child is created with purpose, placed within a family by design, and deeply worthy of being seen and celebrated.

My approach is rooted in patience and presence—especially when working with children who need a little extra support. These sessions are never rushed. They are gently guided, allowing space for each child to be known, comfortable, and honored exactly as they are. It is in these moments that I feel most privileged to serve.

I have always believed that those who invest in children help shape the course of a lifetime. Photography, in its own way, carries that same responsibility. These images become more than portraits—they become part of your family’s legacy. A reflection of love that will endure long after these early days have passed.

Whether your child is typically developing or beautifully unique in their journey, your story matters. It is worthy of being told with care, intention, and quiet luxury.

It is my honor to preserve it—for you, and for the generations that will follow.

Newborn safety is always my top priority 🤍 While Newborn safety is always my top priority 🤍

While the final images may appear as though your baby is peacefully posed all on their own, the reality is very different—and very intentional. Every pose is carefully supported, with hands nearby at all times to ensure your little one is safe, comfortable, and never at risk.

I want to share this little “trade secret” with you because your baby’s safety is the most important thing to me.

Those “extra” hands you don’t see in the finished image? They’re gently edited out during the post-processing stage. This behind-the-scenes work allows me to create the soft, dreamy portraits you love—while never compromising your baby’s safety.

This is part of my service to you—ensuring your child’s safety while also delivering a product you will truly love. Editing may not be the most exciting part of newborn and family photography, but it’s what transforms a simple picture into the image you’ll cherish, share, and love. ✨

No elaborate setups.

Just soft, neutral tones and a beautiful baby at the center of it all.

There’s something so timeless about keeping things minimal—letting every tiny detail take the spotlight. The curve of their cheeks, the softness of their skin, those delicate fingers and sleepy expressions… all preserved exactly as they are in this fleeting season.

There is just something about spring and summer se There is just something about spring and summer sessions… 🤍

Long golden evenings, kids barefoot and exploring, the sound of the water, and the kind of moments that don’t need to be posed to be beautiful. This sweet family’s session by the river was exactly that—easy, playful, and full of connection.

These are the seasons where your babies run a little freer, laugh a little louder, and somehow grow right before your eyes. And capturing that—just as it is—is what makes these sessions so special.

If you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos, let’s get you outside, let the kids be kids, and create something natural and meaningful together.

I would truly love to photograph your family this season. 🤍

There is a quiet kind of love that doesn’t ask for There is a quiet kind of love that doesn’t ask for recognition… but it deserves to be seen.

It’s in the way a mother holds her daughter a little longer, a little closer.
In the way her hands instinctively comfort, steady, protect.
In the soft glances, the whispered reassurances, the unspoken understanding between them.

This is a love shaped by long days and longer nights.
By appointments, unknowns, and moments that require more strength than most will ever realize.
And yet—within it all—there is tenderness. There is beauty. There is deep, unwavering devotion.

These images aren’t just portraits.
They are a glimpse into a bond that has been refined by resilience and rooted in unconditional love.

And at the heart of it all is this truth:
She is perfect exactly the way God made her.

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful- I know that full well." — Psalm 139

Every tiny hand held.
Every forehead kiss.
Every moment of connection captured here tells a story:

Of a mother who shows up—again and again—with courage, grace, and a love that never wavers.
And a daughter who is deeply, fiercely cherished just as she is.

This is what love looks like.
Strong. Gentle. Unbreakable. 🤍

Looking back on my early years of motherhood, ther Looking back on my early years of motherhood, there are so many things I wish someone had told me. Not because I would have done everything perfectly — but because sometimes a little perspective makes us feel less alone.

Here are 3 things I wish I knew before meeting my first child..

1. Parenting will stretch you in ways nothing else ever will—but it will also fulfill you in ways nothing else ever can. No career milestone, beautiful home, or perfectly curated life compares to the impact of raising a child. It is, without a doubt, the hardest and most meaningful work you will ever do. Your love for your child will change the world.
.

2. Patience isn’t optional, it will be vital. And not just a little patience… the kind that feels impossible some days. But it matters. The time you take to pause, to listen, to stay steady.. those are the moments your children will carry with them into adulthood.
.

3. Trust your gut. You know your child in a way no one else ever will. Yes, seek guidance from doctors, teachers, and mentors—but if something doesn’t feel right, lean into that instinct. When you take in the advice around you and then listen to your heart, you will make the right decisions for your child.

Over the years, working with so many new families has reinforced something I deeply believe: there is no perfect way to be a parent. There is only love, learning, and doing your best one day at a time. Those early days with your baby are fleeting, and they deserve to be remembered.

If you're expecting or recently welcomed a little one, I would be honored to help you preserve this season with a newborn session designed to be calm, safe, and stress-free.

Older babies can be just as delightful to photograph—more alert, expressive, and full of sweet little interactions.
